The Authors Registry receives payments from a variety of sources:

Authors' Licensing & Collecting Society (UK): Payments for photocopying and other uses of copyright works of U.S.-resident authors within the purview of the Authors' Licensing & Collecting Society (UK).

LIRA (Netherlands): Payments for Public Lending Right accrued to U.S. authors from libraries in the Netherlands. LIRA (Netherlands)

Harper's Magazine: Payments for electronic database use of work previously published in Harper's.
